CTE STUDENTS HONORED DURING ANNUAL STUDENT EXCELLENCE AWARDS CEREMONY
The Clare-Gladwin Career & Technical Education (CTE) program celebrated student achievement at its annual Student Excellence Awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. With 390 students enrolled in Clare-Gladwin CTE programs, students from Clare, Beaverton, Farwell, Gladwin, and Harrison were recognized for their outstanding work during the 2025-26 school year.
Held in the new CTE Conference Room on the Magnus Center campus, the event was split into two sessions to accommodate both morning and afternoon CTE programs. Attendees, including students and their families, gathered to celebrate the accomplishments and milestones achieved throughout the academic year.
CTE Director Eric Johnson opened the ceremony by thanking local administrators, superintendents, counselors, teachers, and parents for their continued support of Career & Technical Education and the students who pursue it.
During the ceremony, Johnson highlighted accomplishments from across the CTE programs, recognizing student success in leadership activities, competitions, certifications, work-based learning experiences, and hands-on training opportunities.
