Clare-Gladwin CTE and Mid Michigan College Partner for Senior Focus Day

Local high school seniors explore opportunities for life after high school at Senior Focus Day.

Clare-Gladwin CTE and Mid Michigan College partners to provide the seniors in our area with an opportunity to gather information and begin exploring colleges, training programs and job opportunities so they may begin planning for life after high school.

Senior Focus Day began in 2018 with approximately 40 businesses, colleges/training programs and agencies participating. The seniors that participated reported Senior Focus Day helped to relieve some of the stress they were feeling; they found answers to questions they had, gathered new information on job opportunities along with college/training programs available. This year we experienced over 60 businesses, colleges, training programs and agencies that participated. We also increased the number of schools attending from 6 to 11 including Beaverton, Clare, Farwell, Gladwin and Harrison schools.
