Lots of great work being done in CTE classrooms and the field this week, including Education Occupations and Construction Trades. Have a look at our gallery below:
What happened today in CTE classrooms? Plenty in each of them. Our cameras caught up with students sharpening their knife skills in Culinary Arts; with Health Occupations students presenting on famous names in medicine; and with Construction Trades students learning the lay of the land. Have a look at the gallery.
Students in CTE's Health Occupations and Education Occupations are learning lifesaving CPR and First Aid skills this week. And from the looks of it in our photo gallery below, they're having fun doing it.
CTE's Education Occupations students grabbed one of the few nice days lately, their favorite gardening utensils and a whole bunch of weeds Tuesday morning. Working on a community service project, the students pulled weeds and prepared flower beds for planting at the Early Learning Center near Larson Elementary in Harrison. The students readied the community garden for other participants to plant flowers in the "Healthy Gardens, Healthy Schools" program. CTE Ed Occs students from Harrison, Clare and Farwell participated in the beautification process on a morning that couldn't have been much nicer.
Congratulations to CTE's Education Occupations Students of the Month for January, Elizabeth Jessup of Clare and Kolton Wilson of Gladwin.
